Sergio Ruano is CCUS Project Manager with background of Chemical Engineer with 19+ years of experience in industrial operations, maintenance strategy, and large-scale decarbonization projects. Passionate about continuous improvement, Lean Management, and operational excellence. Proven leader of international teams with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Beata Lysiak

CEMEX

Beata Lysiak is a CCUS Specialist with a background in Chemistry and over six years of experience in decarbonization projects within the cement industry. She specializes in both conventional decarbonization strategies and carbon capture technologies, with a strong focus on cement production processes. She will contribute her expertise to support the technical aspects of the PandORA project and assess the potential future application of its concepts in the cement sector.

Shashank Rawat

DLR

Since 2023, I have been working as a Research Associate at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) within the Institute of Low-Carbon Industrial Processes. My research focuses on the decarbonization of CCUS value chains, where I leverage process modeling, integration, and techno-economic analysis to identify energy efficiency potentials. I hold an M.Sc. in Energy Engineering from TU Berlin and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from India. Drawing on nearly four years of hands-on experience as an assistant mechanical engineer in the fertilizer industry, I try to bridge the gap between applied academic research and practical, scalable industrial solutions.

Natasa Tsagkari

IED

Anastasia has strong experience in project management, fintech, and digital transformation. Since 2021, she has been working at the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED), managing international projects and supporting collaborations within innovation ecosystems. She contributes to initiatives that connect research, business, and practical application, with a focus on turning complex ideas into clear and actionable strategies.
